In interest of this topic, here are the lowest promotional prices possible for the North America destinations.

SFO - NT$24,736 (USD773)
SEA - NT$26,207 (USD819)
LAX - NT$26,120 (USD816)
ONT - NT$29,234 (USD914)
YVR - NT$30,724 (USD960)

I guess CI is trying to fill as many seats as possible by getting pax to buy early, but I would think many would hold on since it's not even that cheap in comparison to -2019.
Interesting looking at the prices between TPE-LAX and TPE-ONT there's a $98 dollar. For TPE-SEA/YVR flights is $141 difference. Therefore for the Taiwanese it might be cheaper to fly into Seattle then drive/Bus from Seattle Tacoma airport to Vancouver on the 5 freeway via Blaine Peace Arch border crossing.
I wonder what would happen if you add a connection from the Philippines to these places with the price still be the same or different? Examples are
CEB/MNL-TPE-SEA CI706 to CI021
CEB/MNL-TPE-LAX/ONT CI706 to CI8/6.
