My son is travelling from GLA - YVR via LHR. BA1499 from Glasgow was 1:20 late and they have missed their connection.

BA have booked them onto AC861 tomorrow (BA85 full according to ExpertFlyer) and they have accepted.

Speaking as one who travels HBO, I was unable to answer what will happen to their bags? If they have been offloaded from BA85 do they reclaim at LHR? Or do they find their way onto tomorrow's Air Canada flight by magic?
