yes, and this applies to all UK airports whether they have new or old scanners. the only variation is whether you need to take liquids out with new scanner or leave them in - e.g, LHR & ABZ are out, NCL and LCY are in.

also note that the EU has now also gone back to old liquids rules as well even for new scanners, so 100ml per item, and no more than 1 litre total.
