To answer your first question yes you can upgrade two one way tickets. While availability might show on all four segments of your flight individually, whether it also available at the cheaper (avios) married segment for both flights in a direction is another question. If not you will have to book each segment separately. You can upgrade the HKG-DOH segment from economy to first at 66 Qcredits.
Thanks. Regarding the second question and your answer. If my itinerary is HKG-DOH-VIE (single ticket) and it is showing award availability in first class on HKG-DOH and business on DOH-VIE, would I be able to upgrade using Qcredit? I ask because I thought that the same cabin class (ie business) had to be available on both segments, but considering DOH-VIE does not offer first class, maybe it is possible despite this rule?
