Also with nothing if you do get the "nothing available right now" either the front desk can't see that you had no selections available or I had a FDA at the EWR ES that was a complete moron, although leaning towards the latter, in either case I wouldn't continue the check-in base on past experience

(For that stay had booked a King at a premium rate compared to other rooms types with multiple beds. OLCI gave me the "nothing available" message, checked in anyway, and upon arrival at the property was given a double room in a location I hated. And of course no mention of either the room type change or offer to adjust the rate.

Went back to the FD and was told "nothing could be done" because "you chose that room" -- asked for a manager and the FDA just kept repeating that I didn't like the room "I chose" ... Manager made some protests about room availability and having to "downgrade " a reservation made it politely clear that not having the room type booked available, especially when charging a premium for that room, wasn't my problem and either they could give me what I booked, something better, or cancel the reservation and I'd stay elsewhere. They "found" a proper room a few minutes later.

Haven't been back to that property since but learned the unless you can grab a room you like OLCI isn't with the headache lesson
