Was scheduled to be a 787-10 - just curious what the cause might be if that’s possible to discern?
The B787 fleet is under pressure due to issues with the engines, so BA are proactively cancelling some services to provide more slack in the timetable. QR are adding an extra daily flight to LHR (moving their LHR-DOH movements up to 8 flights a day), so this is an easy area for BA to reduce their daily flight to 1 a day on the B777 and that enables them to reallocate the B787 to a route which doesn't have as many alternative options to accommodate passengers.
