Not sure what the rate is for Bonvoy -> MGM but I don't see a reason to do this ever.
For someone like me (heavy gambler), I have a stockpile of over $3000 worth of MGM points that I never use because my F&B is covered by the casino anyway. This seems like a decent way to use them up, but the redemption value is so poor.
Hi lowkeyflyer,
Marriott Bonvoy® Points can be transferred to an MGM Rewards account at a ratio of 10 Marriott Bonvoy® Points for 8 MGM Rewards points. Transfers are subject to a minimum 1,000 points per transaction and an annual maximum of 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy® Points.
MGM Rewards points may also be transferred to a Marriott Bonvoy® Account at a ratio of 10 MGM Rewards points for 8 Marriott Bonvoy® Points and are also subject to a minimum 1,000 MGM Rewards points per transaction and an annual maximum of 30,000 MGM Rewards points.
