In Ed's interview today on CNBC he also said they are going after Microsoft. My guess is DL reaches a modest settlement with each and moves on. No way CRWD or MSFT is ever found liable for the entire meltdown in court.
MSFT has very deep pockets, great lawyers and I doubt they want to set a precedent of handing out cash every time there is an issue with anything or else every sleazy lawyer will be lining up at MSFT's door asking for a handout. That being said, when MSFT has a liability, MSFT is also very professional about resolving it.
I would love to see this go to court to see how this plays out. It will really make DL, and especially EB, look really bad and they deserve it.
