I took your advice and called the property directly. I've stayed at this property many times, purchased gift certificates, prepaid reservations, and know several of the employees that work there. I was told they had heard of the issue, but suggested I called the Hilton Diamond desk to have it fixed.

I called Hilton and was told that my reservation was still showing the "Everyday Escape" rate with $50 F&B credit. However, when I told her that I was concerned because my account showed "Gift of Travel" rate, she cheerfully transferred me to the Diamond desk for further review.

The Diamond rep reiterated that no changes to the reservation had been made and that she was still showing the "Honors Everyday Escape & Explore" rate. She reviewed my previous stays in May and July and verified the $50 Daily F&B credit AND added additional notes to the reservation when I check-in in December.

After the call, I noticed I received another email from Hilton, identical to the one I received when I booked in May, showing the EVERYDAY ESCAPE rate.

I am assuming the app showing the "Gift of Travel" may have been just an IT glitch.
