I just priced up a weekend to Europe, a weekend to Mexico and a week in Asia as follows:

European weekend:
NCL-CDG-AMS AF/KL £118
AMS-OTP RO £115
OTP-CPH (wizzair) – £36
CPH-MAN – SK £55
Total £324

Mexican weekend:

LGW-MAD UX – £52
MAD-CUN UX £329
CUN-MEX AM £47
MEX-ATL-MAN DL/VS £367
Total – £795

Asia week:
CDG-PVG(drop -TPE) MU £236
SHA-XMN-ICN MF £88
ICN-TPE KE £125
TPE-SGN CI £115
SGN-CGK VN £117
CGK-SIN GA £91
SIN-JED-BHX SV £250
Total – £1022

7 Asian airlines
6 European airlines
2 American airlines

Grand total – £2141 (not including U.K. travel or U.K.-CDG which I would do with miles)

The problem is, it’s a lot of travel, not much rest and painful. Putting myself through pain to then travel in the future in J seems counterintuitive.
