I have an AsiaMiles account that's literally never had a flight credited to it, just a signup bonus from the Cathay Pacific credit card and AMEX/Capital One/Citi transfers. No suspensions. Have booked JL J using it. As long as you don't fit the profile of a mileage reseller you should probably be fine.
