connecting flight is a codeshare flight, AY 5*** (LHR - CLT).
As per the new avios rules, avios would be calculated by spent money and tier factor on the first leg and by flown miles and ticket type/booking class on the second one. I only get one price for the whole ticket, so how to check how much avios to expect?
This has been one of the big flaws of moving to a spend-based system that's really only spend-based on AY's own metal: Before booking, you really don't know what you are going to get in terms of Avios/status points.

This probably holds true especially for some of the cheapest economy tickets, which to me means that AY will soon enhance the earnings charts for partner airlines. For AY status holders, most of the business class tickets have better earnings on Finnair's own metal vs. codeshares or partner airline flights.
