I see no mention of the Iberostar in the Algarve in this thread yet. Has any Flyertalker stayed there who can comment on any elite treatment - currently Platinum - and the correct posting of points and nights?

I'm considering doing four nights at the end of October as a paid all-inclusive stay which will get me to 40 nights this year (for my lounge selection in January) and >120,000 points which will get me to Diamond so it's pretty critical that the stay posts as I expect it to.

Thanks for any experience anyone has of this resort's all-inclusive offer (types of booze, restaurants etc.) and the subsequent correct posting of nights and points.
