People connect so they may be in PL early either from an arrival or initial departure.
However, the food situation seems to be similar across all PL and lots of lounges. Cold food when they first open. Hot food an hour or so later. Dining room after that.
You're lucky to have hot food at 6. SFO doesn't even OPEN til 7. Lots of morning connections connecting to 8am flights to the east coast.
I was in TPE's eva lounge. They opened 4:30 and didn't have hot food til after 5:30.
