Hi, I recently came across a chap on a Facebook BA group, where he claimed to have used an AMEX BAPP 241 and 150,000 Avios for a trip for two in J to Adelaide, via Doha on Qatar metal. Now I, and probably all of you, know the limitations of the voucher, so would prefer this thread not go down what's allowed or not with the voucher, more has anyone ever heard of anything like this ? Has he:
A) been very lucky
B) discovered some sort of "hack" ( I hate that term)
Or, as I suspect,
C) been trolling the group members

One other contributor has since admitted they spent over an hour faffing about on BA and Qatar website trying to book a similar trip, to no avail; surprise surprise.

Any thoughts or insight from the hive mind ?
