Today's visit to the Lufthansa Business lounge in Munich airport really was good because there were few people and the food and drink offer appeared to have been greatly improved. For example, there were three German white wines to choose between and as many red wines. I was able to lock my rucksack and jacket into one of the lockers at the entrance to the lounge.
It was a short distance from the lounge to gate G16 and I arrived there just as the flight was boarding. I was seated fairly far forward in the Economy class cabin and the middle seat was kept free in my row. I went to sleep and when I woke we were somewhere over north Bavaria and the trolley had just rolled past with chocolates and bottles of water. I found the seat oddly comfortable, given that us travellers haven't exactly had a love affair with that Recaro seating over the years. But I attribute this to me being tired after an early start and not sleeping well last night. The remainder of the flight headed over the Sauerland to Dortmund, from where we headed due West to Düsseldorf airport. The timekeeping of this flight was excellent, with bang on time departure and arrival.
