IAH Polaris Club…don’t bother until 6:30 am if at all

At 5:40 am on a Thursday, there is nothing at the IAH Polaris Club to eat except some fruit, salad, yogurt and stale-looking pastries. There is no hot food whatsoever until 6 am and the restaurant doesn’t open until 6:30. No liquor service until even later, but that is probably a Texas law. What a HUGE disappointment! I went to the United Club next door and got some warm eggs. IAH unfortunately is my “home” airport and the Polaris Club consistently underwhelms me. The food is usually consists of very basic, inexpensive choices—-think cheese cubes that are something you might feed a small child with an unrefined palate.
