As inconvenient as I find this, I like it. And although I have never been the victim of any type of frequent flyer account fraud, I'm happy to have the additional layer of security and verification as a preventative measure. Frequent flyer account fraud and theft is very difficult and time consuming to clean up and rectify after the fact, -- much easier to implement additional measures to prevent it.
