If I make a cash + points reservation where first few nights are 100% on points, and subsequent few nights are 100% with cash, will I earn points on those cash nights?

Dear pentiumvi,
Our system allows guest to customize their Points and Cash use by Night. Guest can select which Nights are to be fully paid in Marriott Bonvoy® Points and which are to be fully paid by Cash. The nights reserved with qualifying paid rate are eligible for earning points.
