I called QR reservations and they told me that they are “experiencing systems limitations due to system changes”, which sounded suspiciously like a lie. It’s vanishingly unlikely that they rolled this out without testing it. There must be a commercial reason they are doing it, in which case they should just be honest. Surely this is a violation of their obligations under their OneWorld membership - to throw down obstacles to registering and benefiting from FQTV reciprocal benefits?
