We have always stayed at the RC before CoVid but only in the “ corner “ Garden Terrace Suite .. arguably the preferred for those who like space and a “ balcony garden “ to wander out on and be “ closer to “ mountains and river views . Must be some TRs done for our stays .. easy to walk to Gion , etcetera
Plus there is Pierre Hermé onsite besides the wonderful breakfasts and restaurants !
Might stay at 2 or more others if extended stay with trips out say to Nemu , etcetera
