Another option is MH BKK-KUL-SIN stopping over in KUL to connect to QF SIN-PER-XXX The short hops for 7.5K add a lot of value to Mileage Plan.

While maybe extreme, my example was to illustrate the possibilities and the many places one can visit inexpensively with stopovers.

Another Main cabin example from SIN:

SIN-KUL-SGN 7.5K
SGN-HKG-TPE 7.5K
TPE-FUK 7.5K
FUK-TYO-GMP 7.5K

JL flies to Gimpo in SEL.

I feel sorry for those that can't sleep on a plane. My issue is trying to stay awake. On many more than one occassion, I have nodded off before door closure.
