I don't know how long you have, but you could see all of your desired locations.

Wild Suggestion:

1 AA RDU-JFK/ORD 4.5K
2 CX JFL/ORD-HKG stopover HKG-BKK 42.5K
3 CX BKK-SIN¹ 5th Freedom 7.5K
4 QF SIN-PER-SYD² 25K PER stopover
5 QF SYD-AKL 7.5K
6 FJ AKL-NAN-LAX/SFO/YVR 37.5K NAN stopover

Total 124.5K

¹ There is availability in Main, PE, and J at 7.5K/10K/15K in November.
² The SIN-PER segment is similar to SEA-JFK in duration & distance; one mile difference. SIN & PER are in the same timezone. The A330 has a 2-4-2 seat configuration, so window or aisle, no middle for the outer pair. QF also utilizes this aircraft on PER-SYD route

If you are short miles AS has an "up to a 60% bonus" throught 10/31/24.

Wow, thanks! Yeah, I actually did book from HKG to BKK for November 1st, giving me 4 nights in HKG. Currently in for 51,500 miles because of the 9K RDU > JFK segment *plus* the 42.5K for the JFK > HKG / HKG > BKK segments. I could probably skip Singapore and/or add in Vietnam. Never been to Vietnam, but I've been to Singapore before.

Interesting, didn't realize there was an ORD > HKG routing. I'll have to take a look. I've got the miles, but I'm a bit ambivalent about SYD and AKL (because it seems most go to the South Island); mostly because I don't know how to see either of those countries on limited time. I love your PER stopover--always wanted to go there.

Can I shoehorn PPT or NAN in there somewhere as well? Never been to the South Pacific, but I'm not sure I could really afford that. I used to dream about the IC overwater bungalows in Tahiti, but that was when I had two IHG CCs, where each had the free night cert and could be used at any tier of property.

I think my reach exceeds my grasp here though, because I'd like to use points for hotels. I covered 4 nights in HKG using 77K IHG points and now have only ~50K left. Think I can use Hilton points in BKK (236K total). Could also pay for rooms in BKK. I have some Marriott points, but only 115K--those don't buy very much. I have 76K Hyatt points. I'd rather not dig into my UR points, but I do have some. Think I'm going to have to do some trimming here.
