It looks like bonus TPs, for me anyway, are back to posting on Wednesdays after the return flight, although later in the day than in the past.

I had a BA Holidays booking this year that was auto cancelled because I forgot to pay the balance. Called a few days after the deadline once I realised but the booking had already been cancelled and there was no way to reinstate the booking at the same fare, so I wouldn't risk it.
That's interesting, in the past I have had emails, texts and indeed a phonecall from BAH if a balance went overdue.
