We went to Australia for the first time this year and once there, flew SYD-CNS, CNS-BNE and OOL-SYD. Like you, wanted to get to Uluru but couldn’t make it work with flight timing and limited days.

many highlights, but a sightseeing flight over the reef from CNS was spectacular, as was the snorkeling day trip with on a “smaller” boat that went to Michaelmas Cay and one other spot. Already planning our next trip.
