I was AA Gold for this year but will drop next year as I haven't been flying AA. The idea of being able to choose Platinum at some next year (which I wouldn't earn naturally) would be an incentive to try to get to 100 Hyatt nights next year. Getting rid of reciprocal earning is annoying, though.
