I am here now and staying for 6 nights. This is my 3rd time staying here in the last 7 years. The room is still in excellent condition and very well kept. I'm in a 2 bedroom, which is large for a family. I feel that this is an excellent use of points when comparing to other Maui properties. The cost is 48K a night. The only downside from my previous visit is that they charge $40/night for valet parking with no other alternative. In my previous stays I could park for free in the same valet spots. There is no free overnight parking in all of Ka'anapali, so if you have a car, just build the cost into your budget.
Right now the rooms that are on the right side 8-12, have shade in the lanai throughout the day. Whereas the rooms on the left side 1-7 are in full sun the whole day, making them useless. Not sure if the shade changes throughout the year. I've visited many other properties on the island, such as Ritz, Andaz, Waldorf, other condos and feel that this is the best property due to the large lanai with the full ocean view. Most hotels only have a select few rooms with ocean views, whereas here, every room has it. There are no restaurants on the property, but there are dozens within walking distance. The pool does not get overwhelmed and there are beds available throughout the day.
