Y is Y is Y however some seats are better than others. Ignore row 81 (see pictures below of the IFE boxes)

The exit seats, including row 20 downstairs have no window or side bin but of course you can stretch out. If you travel with a soft ish bag/holdall then you can use that as a footrest (after take off and before landing of course) 25 D has no seat on front of it and it gives a sense of 'airiness' compared to looking at a bulkhead.

You could always ask at the airport for any paid upgrade (if applicable to you, I'd assume you'd have to pay out of your own pocket though if it's a Y work trip)

20 if available would give you a quicker exit though if that is needed. Not a lot but before many others in the rear UD.

Here's the UD mini cabin. An old report of mine I know but the cabin is still the same. Personally I'd choose 70 A then 20 A or K (if they're available), then 80 K/A

I should have added your last query. Here is the info from Expertflyer at the moment for Monday 14th. That can and will definitely all change of course!

The empty rows or open seats you can see in the MMB seatmap (or Expertflyer) will be filled nearer the time and any strategy you may have I don't think will work re getting a row to yourself. Any misconnecting passengers for the previous LAX flights may be shunted onto your service, just a possibility to be aware of.

Also at 3 days out Theoretical Seating comes into play for info and at OLCI and even hours before the flight it can be dynamic. More info here. So before that kicks in I'd say it's worth booking as soon as for peace of mind.

Lots of info above I know but to simplify, pay for an exit seat or 25D, then OLCI when it opens and that's it done
