You start the year with 20 tiles because you earned the perk from 2024. You then reach Mosaic 1 in 2025 and choose to select the new perk (again choosing 20 tiles) in 2025, rather than waiting until 2026.
Agree, that part is proven, I've done it myself. I think OP's question is more than that though (and mine as well).
1. OP starts 2025 with 20 tiles by using rolled over perk
2. OP earns 30 more tiles in early 2025 and gets Mosaic-1 again and another perk.
3. OP selects 20-tile bonus for 2025 Mosaic-1 perk and gets to 70 tiles.
4. OP earns 30 more tiles in 2025 and gets Mosaic-2 and another perk.
5. Can OP save the second perk until 2026 and complete the same process again? Effectively getting 40 tiles of bonus in
consecutive calendar years?
What seems to be clear is that once a person earns Mosaic-1 once, they can use their perk to continually renew Mosaic-1 for 30-tiles a year by rolling over a 20-tile perk repeatedly. My curiosity is (and I think OP's) is whether one can do the same with Mosaic-2 and keep using the 2 perks repeatedly for 60 tile Mosaic-2 renewals
