the funny thing is that when I’m traveling for work, I’m far more likely to spend a long time at the airport. But that’s due to our travel policy, I suppose. My clock starts when I lock my front door, and stops when I walk into my hotel room at the other end. While I don’t get paid OT for travel, every hour I’m in transit equates to an hour of vacation time later. So yeah, I always make sure to be at the airport at least 3 hours early.
but since I’m also usually traveling with a tool chest, one never knows what might happen with CATSA or other airline security authorities.
not needed realy, you dont really have lines anywhere with status. I guess the person checking your time perhaps doesn;t travel. , or it's a big outfit you work for and thehy simply can't . I have very samll company and only 1 employee travels similar to me. They know they canlt game me.... nor would they think to
