OW access rules are still the same and are not different for AS and AA lounges at SFO, did the agent actually scan your boarding pass and get any results? Whenever I do it at SEA it boops appropriately at the lounge dragon and I get let in.
Yes, he scanned both my international BP and then subsequently my domestic BP when I pressed. As best I could tell, the computer was telling him I didn't have access, though that could be wrong. I cited the OW rules, and I would have pulled them up and really pressed it if the (pretty decent) Admiral's Club hadn't been around the corner. But I didn't care enough to escalate further.
