Pre-COVID, as we all know, we had a much higher mix of business travellers, right. And business travelers tend to arrive at the airport you know last minute, no bags, not really looking to enjoy the experience, just get their trip done, get home.
Post-COVID, our premium cabins are still full, in fact, we have more premium cabin guests than we had pre-COVID. But it's a lot of leisure content, going to go to Venice with the family. That kind of thing, right. What we're finding is the amount of our premium customers that are using the using the lounge is up quite a bit, and then the amount of time they're spending in the lounge is also up quite a bit.
In fact, in the Signature Suite, customers are spending 96% longer post-COVID than they were pre-COVID. And in the Maple Leaf Lounges, it's just about 50% longer.
I'd also say pre-COVID, it was much easier to book a shorter connection. Sometimes 5 hours is all I can get, when I really just want enough time to grab a meal in the SS.
