Have you tried via Powertools? I can't reproduce this price for exactly your date (but I can for others), but the transfer Matrix/AA via Powertools works 1:1 for me (also fpr your date). Books also on the A380 with the same times as in Matrix.
I have also tested data that shows your price, also everything 1:1 in the transfer, booking on A380 therefore possible without problems with AA.
Also works via DFW/LHR both ways for a little more time on the A380.
