Not many, probably. The "50% MQM thing" was in place in 2003 also, so everybody who now is a Medallion earned their status with MQMs.
Ah, well, there was this soft landing thingy, (correct me if I am wrong) if you were a PM in 2002, but you didn't qualify as a GM in 2003, but would have qualified under the old system DL would give you GM for 2004 for free. That would be ending now, I guess. I don't think this would apply to many people, though.
