We're waiving change fees when you rebook your travel.
If you decide to make a change to your reservation, change fees and any difference in ticket price will be waived if the change you make follows these guidelines:
list with 4 items
- Your new travel date is between Oct 5, 2024 and Oct 19, 2024.
- Your origin and destination airports remain the same.
- Your new ticket is in the same cabin as the original ticket.
- Your new flight is operated by United or United Express.
Qualify for this travel waiver by either:
list with 2 items
- Changing your flight before your current departure date by selecting "Change flight".
- Canceling your flight before your current departure date by selecting "Cancel options". If you cancel, you'll get a travel credit you can use to book a new trip that must start on or before Jun 16, 2025.
Changes made outside of these guidelines will be subject to the rules of the fare purchased.
"Your new ticket is in the same cabin as the original ticket."
I'm taking this to mean that if my class is Economy (YN) I would NOT be able to book a business class ticket? I'd have to stick with economy.
