Hi all,

I will be travelling from England to Frankfurt via lufthansa on ticket 1.
I will have a 5 hour gap
Before scheduled departure from Frankfurt to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi on etihad airways on ticket 2.

I hold british passport
As per my research, I will need to
1. Go through security + passport control
2. Collect Bags
3. Travel to terminal 2 from terminal 1 - is the sky link train available for arrivals to departures or is it just for
4. Check in bags and go through security

I am not sure about 1) can I collect my bags and go straight to the next terminal via skylink without passport control and if not 2) after you reach the arrivals hall is it possible to still take the skylink or is that available only to passengers within the arrivals concourse controlled area.
