Since you will earn AGR points on your Westbound trip, you might consider redeeming some of them for a Metropolitan Lounge day pass and/or for your CHI-HOM coach ticket.
Thanks for the idea. But will save my points to redeem in the future for a RT HOM-CHI. Or if I get caught w/ the train bug, for longer trip at some point.
Coach CHI-HOM on my return is $31, so not worth using 1,500 points, especially since it will just be about a 2-hour timeframe to fill from when I get to CHI from ORD before HOM departs.
