Hello. I've got a 2-4-1 booking next week, when we originally booked months ago the best I could get was CW outbound and WTP inbound. I've been keeping an eye on award availability and a couple of F seats have just opened up on the return flight so I called BA to upgrade the booking. The agent I spoke to said that because it's an Amex 2-4-1 booking the only way to upgrade it would be to cancel the original booking then rebook. I'm reluctant to do that this close to departure because there is no guarantee that the outbound seats will return to the award inventory and be available for me to rebook. So is this is case of call again and speak to a different agent? Or was this agent correct? Thanks
