Concern is the images I’ve seen of ridiculously long baggage check lines and questionable on-time performance on the LCCs. It's really up to you but AF and AZ usually have very reasonable fares between CDG and Rome. With LCCs, when you add the cost of a checked-in bag and priority boarding, the price is very close to either AZ or AF.
Otherwise if you really want to enjoy the quieter ORY, use Vueling which operates from ORY 2 which is lovely - Easyjet and Transavia use ORY 1 and 3 respectively and neither is better than CDG in regards to crowds and waiting times.
