Anyways, our plane still has all seats available - was thinking of booking row 5. Do you know what's the difference between the first section of business class (rows 3-7) and the next one (rows 8-15)?
Rows 3-7 are in a small cabin just aft of the first class suites. Unlike a lot of other widebody configurations, there's no galley or toilets between the last row of F and the first row of J on the A351. On that basis, I think 3A and 3K are the best J seats. Very rarely will someone come through from the F cabin to the forward J cabin (they have no reason to, passenger or staff). Similarly, anyone seated in row 4-7 will be moving backwards to the galley and toilets between rows 7 and 8. The sliding doors on the J suites do a good job of blocking out noise and movement in all events.
