Hmm, the short answer to your question is almost certainly no, it is not close. But what's the main part of Zhuhai? The concert hall and convention center? Or more likely the "older town" area where gong bei entrance to Macau is? Tbh I've been to Zhuhai a handful of times and always been driven around by people so I've never really been fully aware of the layout geographically, but certainly Zhuhai is a sprawling town with no obvious central core area, as there are several zones of heavy development completed and several more under construction. Each time I've visited I've been introduced to a new part of town. Anyway, everything in Zhuhai feels like it's a 10-15 minute drive from other areas. The hotel location is fine if you don't have a specific area to be in, but the STR is part of the newer strip I mentioned with the concert hall and convention center which hedges your bets since that's more centrally located to everything (gong bei, the hengqin side where HR is, the startup investment zone, the new development sections where they're offering incentives to Macau and HK residents) HR Hengqin is really only best if your meetings are in Hengqin specifically or the University of Macao (which is in Hengqin haha).
