I had a chance to read to forum in the above link before my original post but at that time asssumed it was a seperate issue than the World Traveler (aka Wings?)

Just to confirm and I'm am assuming the web page I found is dated as I understand that Wings RTW alliance is no more from previous forums.

You can book your RTW with the old affiliates such as KQ(Kenya) and take advantage of their better routes through Africa using SkyTeam.
