Love the way you wrote it - it starts with a clueless guy going to Japan for the first time, then it's suddenly one hidden gem after the other. A piglet cafe(!!), cool rooftop bars, Osaka back streets, sparrow skewers. Someone did proper research before the trip! You were very lucky to get a full view of Mt. Fuji on your first ever Shinkansen ride.

And thanks for the many photos of attractions and food, I felt like I was there!

It's sometimes hard to separate the "first world complaints" about airlines and how X, Y and Z do this-and-that better than another without too much experience, so I find it very refreshing to read the travel reports. Otherwise you can end up second-guessing yourself whatever you do!
