Notice i have stayed in this room before, so i won't go into full depth of reviewing it.
As somewhere upthread is a complete analysis.
But some factual points to start with:
- both rooms are on level 4 in the south wing facing Toronto bridge with views on Amstel and Amsterdam Zuid/WTC
- both roome connect to each other via the connecting door
- are both located at the outer end of the building and the inner guest corridor, so very quiet
- King room riverview has a window facing towards Amsterdam east side and you can spot the tower of the Tropenmuseum
- 1 bedroom suite has a windies facing towards Amstersam west side abd you can spot the tower of the Rijksmuseum
- sun rises in the east from the King room riverview and illuminates from the south the windows of both rooms
and passes in the west at the 1 bedroom suite riverview
- you can open the window for fresh air but be reminded you can expect a serenade of our avian friends
- the King room has 1 airconditioning / heater unit
- the 1 bedroom suite has 2 airconditioning / heatee units
- this is the perfect room combo if you need some extra space
In visual splendour:

As you might have read upthread,
Mother is in the market to sell her authentic Hèrmes Grace Kellly handbags collection.
S/O and I have nothing with women's clothes,
my sister and twin brother have urged to sell to downsize downsize as we might get stuck after the funeral with an episide of hoarders .
All grandkids have expressed no interest in pre 90s authentic classic brands.
And the average age of society Amsterdam is reaching 70+ years & over and is of a dying breed so no formal occasion to demure accesoirize anymore except dinners and funerals... There was some informal swapping negotiated at the dinner table.....
As such Julie of Reception and Kelly the manageress,
did remember the purpose of our stay and delighted us with an in-house custom made sweet creation.
Such lovely attention to detail and the reason why Nina stil prefers to throw her society parties only at IC AMS.
