Not to spoil the fun or anything, but I just got back from 4 days in Whistler, and the hills are nearly bare! We had rain for the first three days, and there was a big sign up on Blackcomb saying that if you were a beginner, to STAY OFF the hill! The base was down to about 40 inches - I believe they usually have a 100 - 120 inch base. The Village is still beautiful, and there weren't all the Gay Week activities (obviously), but just be prepared for less than optimal skiing!
