Well here it is: We go to Europe at least twice a year, well aware of the Rooms at certain Hotels there,( 70 plus Nights with Hyatt already as usual this year, 78 with Marriott) no problem, But we always communicate to Hotels via phones,emails etc way ahead of time. This trip was in May of this year.(3-Nights & 5 Nights after that)
a) Upon arrival we were informed that the Room we had requested and promised was only available for 2 of the First 3 Nights. we said we will stay one Night at the smaller room then change back the 7 nights at the other one.so we went to the Room,it was no bigger than a lg closet, we came back to the Front Desk and told them we will spend the First night there and move the next Day.
b) We were informed that another associate has Given the Larger Room to someone else By mistake, so we were stuck with the Cubby Hole of a Room. The Toilet was around 3 Feet from the Bed and the window another 3 Feet on the other side.
c) We decided to spend as much time AWAY from the Room/Hotel as possible. In the evening we would use the Hotel Toilets due to the close proximity to the Bed in the Room.
d) We decided to cancel the 5 Nights and stayed there only 3 Nights.we also let them know our displeasure.
e) Here is the Bright side to All this, we decided to stay at the Sheraton, Malpensa the next Day, what a surprise, a beautiful suite, Nice Lounge, Nice Hotel,so we decided to stay Longer. (One of the Best Hotels near the airports.) we will Definitely be going there again.
f) Hyatt Centric Definitely has a very nice High quality Breakfast, Breakfast Staff is very,very Good.Hotel is located in a very Good Location.Rooms? meh!
