Can't comment on fast track, but Da Nang was rather quick (in fairness, most passengers on my international flight were Vietnam passport holders).

For now, SGN is also relatively close to the city, but I think the new distant airport is scheduled to open in 2026. But my 2022 immigration experience at SGN (after COVID-19 restrictions were dropped) was not particularly efficient.
Thank you. I want to fly into SGN and fly out of DAD, but it appears that I may have to go the other way around.
