Trip Report:

The Seal Beach Inn was great. Very nice folks, homemade breakfast, small and comfortable room. Offered a great corp. rate... better than any of the big chains in LGB. I really enjoyed not being in the downtown area... it was close enough. It's a solid three star inn, with some nice touches and good location.

Paradise Cafe was alot of fun. Friends from W.Hollywood came down to visit (Thomas map in hand). The food was great, drinks even better, very friendly staff. It was a festive meal.

Next week, I'm planning to check out the QM and more of central LGB. There seems to be lots of tattooed men on motorcycles riding around... I need to investigate this further... any suggestions on where THEY hang out? Or do I not want to know.
