I need a few extra segments to maintain my status. I am going to be flying LAS-PIT and was going to fly LAS-DEN-PHL-IAD-PIT for the extra sectors. If I look at LAS-DEN-PHL and PHL-IAD-PIT separately it is like $250 but if I try to put it all on one ticket it jumps to $750 presumably because of married segments. The layover in Philadelphia is 56 minutes - I am not in a rush to get back, so it is not a big deal time wise if I am delayed but don't want to have to buy a new ticket or anything. I have seen posts about bags being checked through (I won't have any) but am not sure about rebooking. Thanks!
