This is a huge downgrade! I would avoid JetBlue anyway and take a 767 on United which is much nicer in terms of comfort in coach. JetBlue is small and such a niche airline to Europe that this won't have an impact as loyal flyers like JetBlue and will stick with this level of "service." I was on one of their flights with cold food to Europe and much of it went to waste with many people just bringing on their own hot food.
I usually connect to Europe through the East Coast and sometimes don't have the time to eat in the airport. The hot meal service is important. Such a downgrade, but I guess U.S. airlines keep getting worse and train their passengers to think this is acceptable service. I doubt this will impact JetBlue much and just save them money. I wouldn't fly JetBlue to Europe again after flying them once.
